Hotel Ancora

The family-run Hotel Ancora is in the centre of Cortina's pedestrian area, 300 metres from the Faloria ski lift. Most rooms have a balcony, some overlooking the Dolomites.

One of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World, the Ancora was built in the early 19th century. It features characteristic wooden balconies, traditional furnishings and original works of art.

Ancora Hotel has been awarded a domestic certificate of excellence and has 2 restaurants, reviewed in a number of prestigious food guides. A delicious mix of international dishes is served in the Gothic-style restaurant with arched ceiling, or in the tavern with hand-painted ceramics.

During winter the hotel is only bookable for weekly stays, from Saturday to Saturday or from Sunday to Sunday.
