From the Alpine hut through the itineraries n. 149 and 173 you can reach Col Quaternà, and then from there you can descend in the Austrian territory. From Coltrondo Alpine hut you can reach both the meadows of the overhanging village of Sesto Pusteria, called "Monte di Mezzo-Panorama", and the village of Passo Monte Croce Comelico.
