Ski area Pinzolo
The ski area of Pinzolo lies Trentino, in the Val Rendena valley, near the renowned tourist resort of Madonna di Campiglio, in the nature reserve of the Parco Naturale Adamello Brenta, surrounded by the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello and Presanella groups. The beauty of the landscape and the quietness of the surroundings make Pinzolo an ideal destination for families, but also for skiing enthusiasts: Pinzolo is in fact connected to Madonna di Campiglio, one of the most famous resorts of Trentino, and is included in the Skirama Dolomiti Adamello Brenta.
Perfectly groomed ski runs of every level wind down from Doss del Sabion, with a wonderful view on the surrounding peaks. The ski area has a well equipped snowboard park for all free style lovers: the Brentapark. If you prefer cross-country skiing, in Carisolo you will find a center with floodlit ski runs for nighttime skiing, whereas children have at their disposal the beautiful playground of Pratomatto and the mini club “La Tana di Rendy”.
More than skiing
In Pinzolo you will find wonderful ski mountaineering tours, and have the chance to practice ice skating in the modern ice stadium, dog sledding, snowshoeing, off-track skiing, orienteering, ice climbing and Nordic Walking.
New:
in winter 2010/2011 the new ski area will be inaugurated. The Campiglio Express, an 8-seater cableway going from Doss del Sabion to Patascoss will connect the two resorts of Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo. Thus the three resorts of Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo and Folgarida Marilleva will form a single ski area, for a total of no less than 150 km of connected ski runs! On Doss del Sabion there will be also a new ski run, the DoloMitica, with two variations, an easy one and a more difficult one.
