Ski area Brentonico Plateau-Polsa

A few kilometers away from Rovereto, the ski area Brentonico Plateau – Polsa stretches on the Brentonico Plateau, on the northern side of the Baldo Mountain, between the Adige Valley and Lake Garda, and includes the ski centers of Polsa, San Valentino and San Giacomo. Thanks to its facilities and professional skiing instructors, the ski area Brentonico Plateau – Polsa is perfect for both beginners and professional skiers, who find here an excellent training ground.

The ski area Brentonico Plateau – Polsa offers perfectly groomed ski slopes, easily accessible thanks to modern lift facilities, like the new chairlift Rosa del Sole, taking to the black ski run that goes under the same name: an unmissable experience for expert skiers. Moreover, there are FISI (the Italian Winter Sports Association) certified trails, for both Alpine and cross-country skiing, where the professional and most demanding skiers can put themselves to the test and hone their technique with training sessions and competitions. If you would like to ski and at the same time enjoy a wonderful view on Lake Garda, just take the free shuttle bus to the slopes of Prà Alpesina. If it’s your first time on the skis, the Monte Baldo Ski School has national coachers and teachers and FISI trainers specialized in ski carving, telemark skiing, snowboarding, and in teaching to kids and to disabled. If you prefer other disciplines, try the cross-country ski center in San Giacomo and the Double Park in Polsa, one of the biggest snowboard parks in Trentino, a true paradise for freestyle fans. Children will have fun too in the Happy Snow ski kindergarten with toys, entertainment shows and ski lessons.

On the Brentonico Plateau you can choose between a wide range of winter sports and activities: bobsledding, sledding, snow tubing, ice skating and ice stock, a sport similar to curling consisting in sliding ice stocks over an ice surface.
