Skitour wild life skiing

This ski tour is immersed in the Paneveggio-Pale di San Martino Nature Park and if you are lucky, along the slopes you can see the wild animals popoulating the majestic woods. We recommend a meal in the mountain huts to try the typical local cheese.
The starting point of the tour is the biotope Prà delle Nasse. Then you reach Punta Cess, from which you can see the frozen Colbricon lakes. Then descend along the “Direttissima” slope until you reach Malga Valcigolera and then ascend to Cima Tognola (2383 m).
Here you can descend along "Tognola Uno", one of the longest and the most beautiful ski runs in the Dolomites.
From the hut Malga Fertazza you catch the ski bus crossing San Martino and reach the ski lifts that will bring you to Refuge Rifugio Colverde, then to Cima Rosetta (2600 m), where you can enjoy a wide view over the Pale di San Martino plateau: Sass Maor, Cimon della Pala, and naturally Marmolada. Finally, you descend until you reach San Martino again.
