Pozza di Fassa is a resort combining wellness with sport and culture in a wonderful environment. In Pozza di Fassa, surrounded by Cima Undici and Cima Dodici, you will find in fact a spa, climbing routes, hiking trails and ski runs.
From the Monzoni group, at an altitude of 1320 m, flows a hot spring: the only sulphurous spring of Trentino with healing properties already known in ancient times. The Terme Dolomia spa is the ideal place to heal body and soul: here you will find in fact a center operating within the National Health Service, relaxing massages and beauty treatments.
Pozza di Fassa is known not only for its spa, but also as a starting point for climbs and hikes in the picturesque Valle di San Nicolò valley, rich of small chalets coloring the landscape. From the town center start easy walks for families, whereas high altitude trails will lead you through the Vajolet valley, on the Monzoni Group, on the Catinaccio and on the Dirupi del Larsec.
If you love skiing try the Buffaure ski area, with one of the longest ski runs of the valley and connected with the Ciampac and Alba di Canazei ski areas. A convenient ski bus service allows you to reach Canazei and the Belvedere area. In Pozza you can also practice nighttime skiing in the Ski Stadium Val di Fassa, where international Alpine skiing competitions take place. Cross-country skiing lovers have at their disposal the Marcialonga route and the Ciancoal, wonderful in the evening.
