Good cuisine, sport and relaxation
I am tasting a Trentino grappa while admiring the landscape at dusk and listening to the soft ring of the cowbells. This summer evening is the prelude of a new day aimed at wellness, sport, relax and refined local cuisine. We are spending our holidays at Luna Wellness Hotel, in Folgarida, Val di Sole, in the Trento province, in the western part of Trentino. This resort is surrounded with beautiful mountain chains: the Brenta, Adamello, Presanella, Ortles-Cevedale and the Maddalene.
The friendly receptionists welcome us smiling, in a spacious and bright hall. Each corner is planned according to a comfort concept and wrapped by light, colours and peace. Linear, neat and well furnished rooms, hospitality and kindness characterise this house.

The restaurant surprises us with great quality, variety and above all creativity. It is elegant, rich in details and offers an attentive service. Simplicity, tradition and innovation, a wide choice of local, wholesome specialities invite us to enjoy authentic flavours. We choose the daily apple menu and an excellent Trentino red wine.
In the afternoon we relax in the greenery of this fairy landscape, dominated by water, the characteristic element in Val di Sole, Pejo and Rabbi:
while the river Noce flows through the valley floor, some streams gush out from the rocks forming foamy water falls. Here water has therapeutic and thermal properties.
We are offered various sport and leisure activities: nordic walking, mushrooming hikes, orienteering, trekking, roller blades or quad, mountain bike itineraries… adventurous rafting, hydrospeed, climbing, canoying and downhill.

This is one of the most snowy areas in the Alps, indeed you can ski all day long without covering the same itinerary! Skipasses offer different opportunities so that you can choose the formula that most pleases you - either ski in the ski area you prefer or cover the slopes of 7 different ski areas through western Trentino. The ski area Folgarida can satisfy even the most demanding skiers.
Cross-country skiing, ice-skating, Qi Gong, snow shoe hikes and outing in a sledge pulled by horses … all this tempt us to come back to Luna Wellness Hotel again and again! What about spending the next Christmas holidays here?
We are already planning the the après ski with music, drinks and finger food in a refuge, accessible by snowmobile!
