Snowshoe itinerary: Pala di Santa

This itinerary starts on Passo di Lavazè (1825 m), between the valleys Val d’Ega and Val di Fiemme.
Starting from the car park, go along the road towards Bolzano for about 200m. Take the path nr. 9 on your right (near the road sign of Passo Pampeago) going eastwards. The trail winds in the forest, going up and then down. After one hour walk, you have to ascent for about 15 minutes along the same path, until you reach the Pampeago Pass (1996 m).
Turn right and walk trough the forest: the path will lead you to a ski slope. Go up on the right of the slope, close to the forest, until you reach the top, which is flat and bare. Go past the ski lift station and keep on walking on the right, until you reach the cross Croce di Vetta (2488 m), after about 20 minutes. Go back following the same trail.
