Cross-country skiing in Val di Fiemme

In Val di Fiemme there are 100 km of tracks for cross-country skiers, especially in the Nova Ponente and Monte S. Pietro table-lands.
In Nova Ponente the lovers of this sport can enjoy enchanting landscapes along the 25 km of tracks well equipped and with several access possibilities. In Monte S. Pietro cross-country skiers can enter a true paradise: besides the 10 km of tracks which winds around the village, from the very close Pietralba the most enchanting rinks of the Alpine area winds. More than 80 km of tracks perfectly beated, at the foot of Corno Bianco and Corno Nero, leads to Passo Lavazè. Lavazè cross-country centre is, since always, the reference of all those who love cross-country ski. Easily reachable from the main centres of the area, and few kilometres far from the motorway exits, it is equipped with several facilities, among which you can find also a good ski wax room, a guest room with toilets and showers, a wide room for prize-giving and a big car park. The recent link to Occlini, a little higher place, has furtherly increased the number of possible itineraries guaranteeing the possibility of skiing until spring.
From Lavazè, it is possible to reach Aldino cross-country centre and the famous Pietralba Sanctuary. Tesero Lago cross-country centre offers tracks perfectly covered with snow,thanks to programmed snow, both for athletes and tourists.Moreover it is connected with the Marcialonga track.
