Cross-country skiing in Campiglio – Val Rendena

Madonna di Campiglio recently gained a modern and well-equipped cross-country skiing center: Malghette, located near Campo Carlo Magno, built in 1998 and realized with a sober Nordic style blending perfectly with the surrounding landscape, one of the most charming of the Alps.

The cross-country skiing center of Madonna di Campiglio, on the mountain pass Campo Carlo Magno, is well equipped and has a free car park. The 4 trails, for a total of 15 km, are of different levels and suitable for all skiers, from beginners to experts: Test trail 0.5 km; Baby trail 2 km; Sprint trail 5 km; World Cup trail 7.5 km. On these trails you can practice both classic and skating styles. The nearby ski school organizes lessons and tours, and has a rental shop, a ski room, showers and locker rooms.

Other cross-country trails are found between Pinzolo and Carisolo, in the Val Rendena valley. The Frassanida center is FIS certified and has a 5 km long trail winding up to the beginning of the Val Genova valley and a 2 km long floodlit trail connected to the 15 km trail running between Carisolo and Caderzone.
