Descent to San Giacomo

This is an easy hike downhill. Path n. 13: from the station at Monte Chiusetta walk to the mountain hut Grossklausenhütte. Then, meeting the two estates Treier and Kamplech, you finally reach S. Giacomo.There is a 400 mt difference in level and it takes from 1 to 1,5 hours.

Campalto and Valle dell'Orso

This is a long and in some tracts difficult hike, but the view is beautiful. Paths n. 2, 7 a and 7: from the station at Monte Chiusetta walk on the Path n. 2 in Valle di Chiusa Grande and reach the Hut Moserebene; from this hut at 1847 mt. continue following the Path n. 7 and reach the Hut Gruben at 2040 mt. Then, following the signs (the track sometimes stops), climb the Campalto. Then walk downhill, following the signs, to the Hut Hochfeld (with buffet service). From the Hut Hochfeld continue downhill and reach S. Giacomo or, walking by the Pferraböden come back to Valle di Chiusa Grande and continue downhill to Cadipietra or S. Giacomo. You can also reach S.Giacomo walking stright on across the Valle dell'Orso.There is a 700 mt difference in level and it takes from 3 to 7 hours.
