Hotel Diamant lies in the centre of San Cassiano, in Alta Badia, at the foot of Lavarella. Close to the slopes and ski lifts, that can be reached with the hotel's shuttle, it is a nice accomodation both in summer and winter, for a stay aimed at relax: snowshoe hikes, cross-country ski, winter walking tours, Nordic Walking, Mountain bike.
The ambience is elegant, well-kept, warm with a homely atmosphere. Cosy hall, circular bar, traditional "Stube" and panoramic terrace. The recently refurbished rooms are spacious and bright, all featuring bathroom, shower, WC, telephone, color-TV with satellite, balcony, fridge-bar, safe and hairdryer. Large suites are suitable for families.
The restaurant suggests Ladin, Tyrolean and international dishes, all served in the wooden dining room. A healthy and vital cuisine, with daily rich buffets.
The wellness area features a large indoor pool, whirlpool, Finnish sauna, Turkish bath, Kneipp basin, solarium and relax room. From winter 2011/2012 the new Gran Ega SPA will be fully operational.

Hotel Diamant: refuge of wellness in Alta Badia
Among the mountains of Alta Badia the word wellness is a guarantee. The Hotel Diamant in San Cassiano is a heaven of relax, a refuge of wellness where you can simply relax and get free from stress. A small center, accurately studied to allow you to rest and to find some time for yourself. Winter 2011 will bring a new look for this wellness area: in fact it will be enlarged to allow even more wellness.
The new Gran Ega SPA will measure more than 1000 sq. m. and will offer a fitness room with Technogym equipment, a large sauna area with Turkish bath, Finnish sauna and Bio sauna, new swimming pool and whirlpool with salt purification (a natural purification method that avoids eye and skin irritation and that protects your health), tea lounge, comfy relax room with panoramic view over the Dolomites of Alta Badia, beauty farm with massages and cosmetic treatments and a romantic Suite SPA that offers 3 hours of intimacy and relax.
In the meanwhile enjoy the present wellness center, you will find a water world, a sauna area and a relax area.
Water world
Pure fun with friends and family in the indoor pool of the Hotel Diamant, with big windows on the surrounding nature. Total relax for body and mind in the whirlpool, a perfect solution to restore your body after a day spent outside.
Sauna area
Use the steam to get your well-being back. At your disposal: a Finnish sauna, with a temperature of 80°-90° degrees, perfect to restore yourself and get your energies back, and a Turkish bath with a temperature of 40°-50° degrees and 100% humidity.
Relax area
Let yourself massage by the flow of the water that will improve your blood circulation and stabilize your nervous system. The Kneipp Therapy pool with its hot and cold streams and the river stones that rub your feet is simply a universal remedy. The new relax area is ideal to longer the benefits of the treatments and to let yourself go with the relaxing sounds and the stimulating exotic scents.
