Vitality, Fun, Freshness, Relax, Gourmet and Good Mood - all that at Schwarzenstein!
A very fascinating trip leads me to the Ahrntal, where you find the Hotel Schwarzenstein
wide woods, meadows in flower and trees in the Ahrntal's Nature Park. However, I am surprised at the location of this beautiful Hotel and the silence that surrounds it
immersed in the fields (the vegetation changes according to the season), with a 3000 sq m-wide natural pond, pastures
I bet you would be enchanted, too!
As I arrive, Mr. Zimmerhofer welcomes me. His wife and he take care of the guests personally, paying particular attention to their requirements
Here, hospitality is still sacred!
On the reception desk I can see many coloured brochures, that invite me to take part in the activities and entertainment programme organized at the Hotel:
- the Fitness program, with qualified trainers and instructors, including fitness training in the fitness and gymnastic area, that offers the very newest of fitness equipment - cardio-fitness machines from the Technogym company with an integrated flat TV, music and an individual training programme, or water training and water gymnastics, yoga, Nordic Walking, morning gym and relaxing exercises, free top-bike rental, weekly bike tours with experienced bikers the choice is up to you and to your wish for movement!
- Fresh and refreshing, Grand & great: a recuperating spot in the mountains.
Indoor recreation area - all-year-round heated outdoor pool, against the current swimming area, massage nozzles, indoor and outdoor whirlpools, sunny winter-garden relaxing area, reposing room with panoramic view. - Gourmet, pure Wellness: 3/4 pampered lodging

and finally the Relax program, in a real "sauna land" I begin from it.
The joy of life nearby - the regeneration of your body, mind and soul: the South Tyrolean Stube-Sauna, i.e. rustic sauna experience in a South Tyrolean style - enjoying the fragrance of wood, the herbal bath, the Roman cistern with trickling water, the amethyst-steam grotto, the Tepidarium, the most famous bath in the Roman times, the ice fountain for your refreshment, and the Great Witch's Sauna, a block house in the open with a Whirpool in the garden you will be speechless! I am a very active person, however in this case I would like to stop time but the Gourmet program awaits us!
Mrs. Zimmerhofer welcomes you in the dining room and supervises the restaurant during your romantic candle-light dinner. The setting puts the guests in the right mood to savour excellent dishes such as figs with almonds and gorgonzola spaghetti, chestnut soup with sesame, grilled camembert, potatoes baked in foil with herb ricotta and cranberries - I just wish to whet your appetite and curiosity a rich buffet of salads and grilled vegetables, a wide range of cheese and wines are available, too!
The enthusiasm aroused by this atmosphere enables me to get up early and to do some exercise in the fitness room - an area of over 300 sq m in Asian style, a running stream with murmuring water nearby, a wonderful view on the pastures, flocks at grass and finally a perfectly equipped gym!
