Colfosco lies at the foot of Passo Gardena and is the highest village in Alta Badia (as much as 1645 m), and is ideal for a sport and nature holiday.
In winter it is the most comfortable starting point to reach the famous Sella Ronda ski-tour, whereas freeriders will appreciate the spectacular canyon of Val Mezdě.
Colfosco lies at the foot of the Sella massif and of Sassongher and is not far from the Puez-Odle Natural Park, an ideal background for trekking-lovers.
There are many possible hikes you can do, such as Val Mezdě and Pisciadů, as well as the waterfalls bearing the same name, whereas the fittest can try as much as eight high routes.
Arts lover can’t miss the gothic church of St. Virgilio, whose belltower with onion dome is the symbol of the village.
