This skitour in Alta Badia is a beautiful naturali itinerary skirting the Puez-Odle and Fanes-Sennes-BraiesNature Parks: you can discover the Ladin culture and traditions, alternating convivial highlights and evocative stops in places of religious interest.
Leave Colfosco, where you get the cableway to Valle Stella Alpina, Col Pradat and Forcelles, at the edges of the Puez Tableland.
In Corvara, take the chairlift taking to the Col Alto, Piz Sorega and Piz La Villa tablelands.
After reaching La Villa you get to Gardenazza, enjoying a wonderful view over Sassongher among the "viles", the typical Ladin wood and stone buildings.
After that, set off through the woods towards Pedraces, enjoying a nice view on Santa Croce and Lavarella.
As you get in Pedraces, at San Leonardo, take the chairlift to Santa Croce and visit the 16th-century sanctuary. In the Refuge Santa Croce you can try polenta, speck, cheese and "panicia", a special barley soup.
