The B&B Airone lies in a quiet position in Venas di Cadore, a sunny mountain village immersed in the heart of nature, just a few km from Cortina d'Ampezzo. Thanks to its altitude (859 m) and location it’s suitable for everyone and offers fantastic sightseeing opportunities, such as trips to close Austria.
The B&B is an ancient Cadore house dating back to the beginning of the last century; it was recently renewedand offers a panoramic view on Mt. Rite. The wooden furniture in mountain style conveys a calm and warm atmosphere. The nice rooms have wide and comfortable bathrooms. In the well-lit breakfast room you enjoy excellent savoury and sweet dishes, prepared with care by Mario, who will spoil you with fantastic cakes.
In spring and summer you can experience hikes, mountain bike tours and trips to Messner’s Museum, visit Cibiana di Cadore (famous for its murales) and the Great War fortifications, go in for sport angling in magic lakes.
Several winter leisure activities await you: cross-country and alpine ski, hockey, ice-skating, curling, sledge. The lovers of wellness can relax in the nice wellness centre in Borca di Cadore, with a view on Mt. Pelmo.
