Along the river Piave: castle of Zumelle, villa Piloni and villa Gaggia

Along the left side of the river Piave the Castle of Zumelle - which origins are still uncertain, and centre of the area which linked Belluno, Feltre and Ceneda - and Villa Piloni are to be mentioned.
On the right side of the river, there lies Villa Gaggia.
Both the above quoted villas are surrounded by a great garden and park designed by the same author: Alexandre Poiteau.
The territory of Trichiana town council had played a great historical rule since it was the crossing point between Treviso and Belluno, throught the Pass San Boldo.
