Description
The Restaurant Chalet Lago Antorno lies in Misurina, on the road taking to the Three Peaks of Lavaredo, surrounded by some of the most famous Dolomites mountains: Cadini, Sorapis, Cristallo and Mount Piana, as well as the historical museum of the First World War in the open air.
In summer it is an excellent starting point for relaxing walks or easy trekking trough the luxuriant larch and fir woods, to reach many alpine refuges, but also for bike tours. Furthermore you can go fishing in the lake in front of the restaurant.
In winter, the Chalet is the last boundary with the great “North”: the road ends in front of the hotel and you can only go farther on foot, with your skis on or by snowmobile. You can reach the school slope directly with your skis on, perform ski touring, cross-country skiing or reaching the foot of the Three Peaks by snowmobile for adventurous sledge descents.
The restaurant is family-run, thus assuring a warm and friendly atmosphere, and offers guests a wide range of typical dishes of the Dolomites: polenta with roe, melted cheese, tagliatelle with polish mushrooms, salami and cheeses from the alpine huts, with a wide choice of wines, to end a day spent with your family, with special menus for children, or with friends after a walk in the most beautiful peaks of the Dolomites. The restaurant Chalet Lago Antorno is also suitable for groups with over 100 persons.
The atmosphere is typical of an alpine refuge, with typical “stube” and e fireplace room, a perfect setting for your best evenings. At dinner, the terrace or the panoramic veranda on the lake, with the Tre Cime di Lavaredo in the background, are an ideal framework for your everyday or particular occasions.
Close to the restaurant you will find the "Bano's Village", a quiet children playground with entertainment organizers, featuring a snow tubing slope, toy train, snowmobile, bouncy slide, elastic carpet and a real igloo for children, as well as the Igloo bar with music and sausages.
