The hotel bears a long tradition and is one of the Italian historical places. Its history can be admired in the details of its rooms: well combined wood and colors, old photos, glass cupboard with pewter objects. All rooms and suites are roomy and well-furnished, with precious details, big and bright bathrooms, each of them has a peculiar style. Some also feature a whirlpool.
Hotel de la Poste has a big dining room with a sunny terrace. The Bar de la Poste, run by the barman Antonio di Franco, is very famous: this is an exclusive meeting place and an excellent restaurant for lunch and dinner (reservation required). It is furnished in the traditional Ampezzo style and offers homemade specialties.
The hotel has always been run by the Manaigo family, which is one of the founders of the exclusive and important snow polo tournament on the frozen Misurina lake and participates with an own team.
