Route
From the church of the Madonna delle Nevi go northward, turning left towards Val Vissada. The road is asphalted, but after 4 km it becomes a mule track which climbs to Forcella Zovo. Following it you will reach the homonymous hut, at 1609 m. Now enter the path n. 165: after a series of latches, a hard climb will lead you at the top of Monte Zovo (1943 m). The way back is on the same route.
This itinerary offers the opportunity of enjoying the marvellous panorama, made of clearings, pastures and conifer woods of the della Val Visdende, which was called "Tempio di Dio, inno al Creatore" (Temple of God and Hymn to then Creator). From the peak of Monte Zovo, then, the sight can space boundless on the surrounding mountains and valleys.
