Complete tour of Civetta-Moiazza

• Starting points: Capanna Trieste (1,135), small road from Listolade, 5 Km far away, north from Agordo.
• Points of rest: Capanna Trieste Rif. Vazzoler (1,714) Rif.Tissi (2,284) Rif.Coldai (2,135) Bivacco Grisetti (2,050) Rif. Passo Duran (1,600) Rif.Carestiato (1,835) Capanna Trieste.
• Difficulty: medium
• Walking time: it is advisable to divide the tour into three days, with a total walking time of about 17 hours

Description of the itinerary

1st day
During this first leg of the route you will visit one of the most beautiful places of the Dolomites: the north-west side of Mount Civetta.
2nd day
This long, demanding leg winds through desolate areas without any particular difficulties. The only stretch which requires more attention is on Forcella di CrepaBassa (2.320), with some exposed passages and a small gully with a 1st degree passage downhill.
3rd day
This leg is easy and almost all downhill. It is part of High Route n.1 of the Dolomites in the stretch Coldai-Vazzoler-Carestiato, in the opposite direction.
