The Civetta
The Civetta is one of the most famous mountains in the Dolomites (its main peak is 3220 m high): its northern face towers over Alleghe and is well known to mountain climbers from all over the world as the reign of the 6th grade. Civetta is a sort of watershed between the Zoldo and Agordo Valleys and it extends southwards to form the Moiazza.
The Civetta District is a vast area that comprises part of Agordino, Valzoldana and Val Fiorentina. In summer, mountain lovers will enjoy discovering many different routes; in winter, the District offers skiing lovers no less than 80 km of ski runs, a close net of courses that unwind mainly at high altitudes. For northern skiing, more than 50 km of ski runs stretch through Valzoldana and Val Fiorentina.
