Description
The Restaurant Al Borgo lies just a few steps from the center of Belluno, past the Ponte della Vittoria towards the Nevegal. It is located in a XVIII-century villa which was owned by the Doglioni family, in Anconetta, with a wonderful view over the city of Belluno.
The interiors are embellished by many works of art and by the charming fireplace, and in summer it is also possible to have lunch in the wonderful garden surrounding the villa.
The restaurant, supervised by Renato de Salvador and Flora Battiston, offers a cooking based on the typical ingredients of the Bellunese: mushrooms, potatoes, maize, beans from the valley, game and cheese from the mountains as well as rabbit and pork meat.
These precious and natural ingredients blend and form
risottos with mountain herbs, pumpkin dumplings, or green dumplings with mascarpone cheese and speck, crespelle with hop or herbs, casunziei with beetroot, soup with barley and beans.
Also desserts are homemade and among them you cannot absolutely miss ice cream and vanilla "panna cotta".
Closed on Monday night, Tuesday all day
